New Food Hatch Lock for Corrective Services New South Wales

Back

STUV has produced and supplied a new series of HSL C201X food hatch locks for Corrective Services New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

These special locks are used in a Correctional Centre and offer a solution for the requirements of the prison system.

The HSL C201X lock was developed in close co-operation with Corrective Services NSW and has the same lock case size as the previously used model 4L80 from Assa Abloy. This allows for easy replacement and installation without major structural modifications. The HSL C201X food hatch lock is used to securely lock an inspection hatch on a detention room door. It has a locking mechanism that can be unlocked with a Euro profile half cylinder. The installation of the new locks is carried out by Corrective Services NSW itself.

This partnership underlines STUV's expertise in the development of security-related technologies and the importance of working closely with end users to provide customised solutions for specific security requirements.

STUV is implementing similar projects in other countries to improve security in prisons worldwide.
