Escutcheon Fitting

The STUV escutcheon made of stainless steel is used for motor locks that are controlled without RFID reader. As the mechanical locking mechanism is usually not used due to the motor operation, this special escutcheon fitting offers reliable protection against manipulation or dirt by means of lockable sliders. The slider is secured with a Torx screw.

STUV escutcheon fittings with RFID reader are used on one or both sides, depending on the lock function. The fitting is screwed to the door by means of two continuous pin screw connections. As a result, you get a precise functional unit and a perfectly protected locking mechanism. With STUV fittings, the RFID reader is securely protected by a stainless steel housing.

STUV escutcheon fittings are used as a higher-quality solution compared to standard escutcheons on doors, gates and fences with high security requirements. High-quality, corrosion-protected materials are matched to indoor and outdoor applications. The long escutcheon fitting is suitable for mechanical locks and motorised locks without RFID readers.
