Functional description

Re-coding the lock

The locking mechanism can be re-coded to a different locking when it is unlocked (bolt retracted). This requires a key of the current locking and a key of the future locking.

Food hatch lock with two turn latch bolt exclusion. In the standard corridor side locking version, the lock has a mechanical bolt position indicator on the key guide side.

Application areas

The type HSL 204 is designed for detention room and passage doors. The latch bolt is released via a first turn (180° key turn) and retracted via a second turn (180° key turn). The key can be removed in locked and unlocked state.

S1 | Main Locking Mechanism: Lockable on one side

The key guide of the main locking mechanism is located on one side of the lock. This equipment is used e.g. for detention room locks.

DB | DIN direction: right and left

Bolt locks that close on both sides can be used for both DIN right and DIN left doors. A specification when ordering is not required here. This applies e.g. to lock types HSL 101 and HSL 301 with feature S2.

AS | Removal barrier

The removal barrier prevents unauthorised removal of the lock when the door is open. The lock can only be removed when the locking elements are locked. Ergo, the double-bit key is absolutely necessary.

PS | Production lock (dummy lock without tumbler lock mechanism)

Dummy lock available for door production without security features. The production lock will be charged. After a faultless return (inspection by STUV Prison Solutions), the amount minus shipping costs will be refunded or charged.
