Compact food hatch lock

Bolt lock for food hatches with single turn bolt exclusion (bolt thickness 18 mm) and mechanical bolt position indicator on the key guide side. As replacement lock for 8.14.0203.0 and 8.14.0204.0

Functional description

The HSL double-bit key is inserted into the lock.

The bolt is locked back with the key via a tour (180° turn).

The inspection hatch can be opened.

The inspection flap is closed.

The bolt is extended with the key via a tour (180° turn).

The hatch is fully locked.

 

Re-coding the lock

The locking mechanism can be re-coded to a different locking when it is unlocked (bolt retracted). This requires a key of the current locking and a key of the future locking.

Application areas

The type HSL C206 is designed as a replacement lock (retrofitting) for STUV single-bit locks and is used in food hatches of custody doors. The bolt is locked forward and backward via one tour (180° key rotation). The key can be removed in locked and unlocked state.

S1 | Main Locking Mechanism: Lockable on one side

The key guide of the main locking mechanism is located on one side of the lock. This equipment is used e.g. for detention room locks.

If the hinges are on the right side of the door, it is the "DIN right" door opening.

AS | Removal barrier

The removal barrier prevents unauthorised removal of the lock when the door is open. The lock can only be removed when the locking elements are locked. Ergo, the double-bit key is absolutely necessary.

PS | Production lock (dummy lock without tumbler lock mechanism)

Dummy lock available for door production without security features. The production lock will be charged. After a faultless return (inspection by STUV Prison Solutions), the amount minus shipping costs will be refunded or charged.
