Rotary knob for operating the occupant lock
On locks with privacy locking, the latch can be operated on the detention room side with the knob, provided the knob is released (unlocked) by the staff.
Functional description
The knob made of aluminum is designed for use with profile half cylinders with shaft. In combination with a detention lock (e.g. HSL 102 and HSL 302) a secure privacy locking function is realised.
The rosette of the rotary knob is screwed to the door. The rotary part is then securely screwed to the rosette with two grub screws.
An integrated overwind protection prevents damage to the lock.
The conical shape of the knob makes it difficult to attach objects undesirably.
